Customisation options

Almost all shoes that are made-to-order on Sanctum Shoes can also be custom made to measure. Please note that only models for the Sanctum brand can be customized! 

Made-to-order vs. made-to-measure

Regular options like shoe size and colour will do for most shoe lovers. Our made-to-order shoes have options for exterior, interior colour, material, sole colour and choice of material. While these options will probably make you happy for sandals and pumps, you may want more customization for your leather boots. 

The best way to enjoy your leather boots is to have them made to measure to the exact size of your ankle, calf and thigh.

What are options on made-to-order shoes? 

​Almost all shoes in our shop that are made in Italy can be customized. The customizations that you can choose without taking any measurements are: 

• material: nappa leather, calf leather, patent leather, suede, python leather in all colours
• exteroir and interior colours; see colour options here
• sole colour: standard beige leather or black; but also in shiny pink, apple green, dark blue, light blue and purple. 

Customized made-to-measure boots

Real luxury is having your Italian leather boots made to measure for your legs. There is nothing more pleasant (well almost) than the feeling of leather around your legs that is tight, but not too tight. For several of our leather boots we have options to make the shaft to your measurements. These boots can be made to fit the exact size of your ankles, calfs and thighs. 

There are lot's of options to make boots to measure. Please make a choice of your preferred model from our shop first and then contact us. Send us your measurements (see below how to take your sizes) and tell us what you are looking for. We try to find the factory that can make your boots.  

Return policy and delivery

Please take into account that shoes that are made-to-order or made-to-measure can not be returned for exchange or refund. Only in case of imminent production faults, custom made-to-order and made-to-measure footwear can be exchanged.  

The delivery time for custom footwear is at least 4 weeks up to 12 weeks, depending on the model, materials, sizes and factory.
